Hi, I'm looking for more ideas on how to wear my hair now that it's getting hotter. I work in a rock'n'roll music store, so I normally like to do styles that are pretty fun & rockin'!

I often do double high-up ponytails, or little double buns in back of each ear. I want to change it up often enough that I don't keep putting the same stresses on my hair all the time.

Any ideas? Photos would be great! :-)

How about a half up with some bits loose and braided around your face? If you do lots of tiny braids through the hair that always adds a little rock'n'roll to a style ;)

Hmm, maybe a "fauxhawk" like here (http://www.style-hair-magazine.com/faux-hawk-hair-style.html)and here (http://www.canadianliving.com/style/beauty/5_steps_to_a_fab_faux_hawk_ponytail.php). Although the instructions seem to involve backcombing and hairspray... :?

Let me think some more :)

How about Tanja's Bun and Braids Combo ( quite unusual style) (http://www.network54.com/Forum/242462/message/1084029564/Tanja%27s++Bun+and+Braids+Combo++%28+quite+unusual +style%29+with+step+by+step+pics)?

My hair is about the same length as yours, and I feel this style looks better on my length with the braids a bit thicker, - the thinner braids work with the longer length but not so much with a shorter length. JMO. It's a fantastic style anyway.

How bout a braid hawk? (Only if you're X-TREME)
Baiscly, braid from the edges of your hairline like near the forhead, ear and stuff close to the scalp to the half of your head and let the ends of your braids fall loose, like a real mohawk.
Do the same to the other side.
Sortof like this but a little less harsh:

how about faux strands of colored hair, like purple, pink, and green? It would look cute in braids or up in a bun.

You could also do a regular bun and wrap a spiky dog collar around it.

Here is a good style to try, it's like a mawhawk but a bit less out there.
You just bun the hawk part?

Meatballs! I've seen a few sites in the past that showed how they are done, but my hair didn't care for the high ponys required for the style :)

how about a ponytail with a large pouf on top of your head? Kinda rockabilly:) Or a ponytail split in lots of tiny braids. Or hair mascara! You could also try to decorate usual syles with cool accessories like feathers, beads (at the end of small braids) etc. Or do a ponytail over your shoulder and wrap the entire length with a nice coloured ribbon, I do this sometimes and it can look very cool on long hair. Or do two of them on each side, just make sure you don't wear errings which can catch on the hair, very annoying!
