That sesame street song is about a little girl who loves her natural hair, instead of getting it chemically straightened to be more acceptable. There's a message there - for little girls with naturally type 3c-4c hair.

It's such a cute song and I can see where it can be easily re-worded to fit anyone's hair color and type and with some creative lyrics, you can change the styles she mentions too if you want (personally, I don't look good in corn rows and I could never get an afro and still be hair friendly! lol) I am sooo memorizing this song. Is that silly of me? (asked the girl in the mermaid tail. :rollin: )

That's cute, and a great message for kids. I know I spent years wishing I had a different hair color/type before I gained a little self acceptance. Maybe I should have watched more Sesame Street.
