Neoma

This updo looks extremely complicated, but it should be a cinch for anyone who crochets. It's simply three slipknots. I have baby fine hair that is almost tailbone length. If your hair is thicker, you may need longer hair.

1. Start by following the step-by-step instructions for the Neoma Knot (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=152). Once you have completed the second loop, simply make another slip knot. At that point, you will have a chain of three slip knots.
2. Wrap any remaining hair around the chain.
3. While holding the chain securely, with a finger in the top and the bottom chains, reposition the chain so it is on a diagonal, with the last chain on top. (Is that as clear as mud?)
4. Insert a hairstick through the top hole in the chain, pick up some scalp hairs under the bun and bring the point of the hairstick out through the bottom (first) hole in the chain.
Voila! You're done!
