Contra Dance!

I'm going to my first contra dance tonight in Montpelier... :cheese:

Anyway, I need a good hairstyle. I'd love a braided updo of some sort, but I'm not very good at bunning or braiding. So... I need to keep it relatively simple. If you know of a pretty style for waist-length hair that will stay in place for hours of dancing, let me know!

This is probably too late, but: Chinese braided bun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrJYzX4cbXU)? Looks gorgeous, holds well, and really it's just two twin braids wrapped round a hairstick and pinned.
