I copied my hair idol's style

Well in my not so humble opinion, your own hair is just as gorgeous as your hair idol's. You have wonderfully thick hair! You did a great job, I actually like your version better than your hair idol's.

I am temporarily annoyed with my hair because I got my hair done (not cut) at a salon for the first time in 6 years yesterday, but I'm not happy with its current state. It's so puffy, too puffy to use the hair sticks I just got from Barefoot Maiden now. Which makes me sad. So it might be back to this style tomorrow.

I love the twists and how soft and beautifully the hair sits. It is interesting with the clip at the back, it makes it feel like your hair is an ornate frame for the shiny!

Thanks, everyone. Since people think it looks really fancy and elegant, I think I'm going to wear it to a banquet I'm helping to organize. 9 months from now. :p Doesn't hurt to plan in advance. ;)


Oh my Gorgeous! I can't figure out how that's done.. looks awesome!!!

Thanks. The hair is divided into 3 sections, 1 on each side and 1 in the back. The side sections are put into ponytails. I took a little piece of the ponytail and twisted it (rope braid, I think you all call it) and wrapped it around the base of the ponytail so the holder didn't show. Then I took each ponytail and twisted it really loosely so it would remain puffy. I took the two twisted ponytails and pulled them together toward the back and clipped the ends to each other. Then I took the back section of hair and folded it over the ponytail ends I crossed the ends of the back section and tucked them under the clipped ponytails.

I hope that made sense.
