How long do you spend on you hair on the adverage day?

I do about 3 combing sessions a day on it which takes know more than 5 minutes. I also oil my hair most days and comb that through so I will say another minute for that. Only wash every five days so wont include that.
Works out about 16 minutes a day.

Well, 90% of the time I wear my hair either loose or in an updo that takes a minute or less. Combing time is brief and it takes less than 2 minutes to oil my hair daily. I don't think I spend any more than 5 minutes on my hair on an average day.

If I'm doing a more elaborate hairstyle, then it might be a 10 minute day.

Now, on a deep treatment day, all bets are off. :)

This is what I usually do:

In the morning i comb och brush my hair and do an updo. Depending on my hairs condition it takes me about 10-15 mins in the morning.
My hair don't hold updos vey well so i usually have to redo it 1-3 times per day depending on the style. So redoing my updo takes me maybe 5 mins per day.
In the evening I might oil if my ends feel really dry, and then i braid it. That takes me maybe 5-10 mins.

On wash days i spend a little more time on my hair, and showers take about 20-25 mins, and then i oil my ends (and i usually blow-fry my bangs ).

So on a regular day: 20-35 mins
And on wash days: 40-55 mins

I condition my hair in the shower, which takes less than a minute. Sometimes combing it out can take two minutes. And then I throw it into an updo, which takes less than a minute.

I do not wash everyday, that's down then. So if it's a usual day, not a wash day, I comb it before putting it up and after taking it down. 3 minutes maybe. Sometimes I brush. It really depends on how busy I am at that time. Sometimes I brush twice a day, sometimes twice a week because I am too tired:D And I put it up which takes me from one to thirty minutes;) If it's a wash day- I spend on my hair about an hour.

So it varies between 4 and 90 minutes:D

My hair: combing and brushing twice daily 2-3 mins, updo 2-3 min= 5 min max

Emme and Bean combing and brushing twice daily 30 minutes, braiding/updos up to 45 mins=75 min

wash day, I try to only wash 1 head a day  which takes between 10 mins for Bean up to 30 for Emme

That's alot of time! 105 min on Emme wash day!!!

Not long at all. I have to wash everyday, but that's more of a scalp issue. : )

Hmm, hard question.

It only takes a minute or so to comb it and put it in a bun, but that can happen multiple times per day, depending on a variety of factors. So maybe 5 minutes. But then on wash days, washing does take some time (like 20+). And if I do any kind of style rather than just tossing it into a cinnabun (it happens, rarely :p), that adds time too.

I'd say no more than 10 minutes on average, and probably a good bit less.

About 15 to 25 minutes per day, depending on what I'm doing that day.

A scritch, scalp massage, and preen session takes about 10 minutes, fingercombing and putting it up takes about 5 minutes, a rinse done weekly takes about 5 minutes, and the extra 5 is for redoing hairdos during the day if needed.

Median and mode, less than a minute. i sleep with my hair in a Buff and go out the next day with the same updo at least half the time, only applying some homemade perfume with a jojoba base. Mean, that's harder to compute. I wash a couple of times a week, and every few weeks I henna, which takes all night.

Ummmm well I CWC my hair everyday :o so thats about 20 minutes
Oil it lightly takes another minute or 2
Brushing i'd say another 2 minutes
then putting it in an updo i'd say is 5 minutes

So roughly 30 minutes :) unless im doing a deep treatment or henna ;) hehe

A good average would be between 5-10 minutes a day for me unless I am doing different styles to update on my hair journal or something elaborate whch would be rare.

I don't knoe. It's probably 10-15 minutes a day if I*m not making tutorias or playing with it.

Normal Day: Up in 30 seconds and left alone all day.

Wash Day: Washed, towel try (gentle), then either air dry (5 hours worth) with hair down, or put up and ignored until later.

Oil/DT Day: Those are days I just dedicate to pampering my hair much how someone else might take a personal "spa" day at home.... which are also nice. :D

It depends on if it's a wash day or not. If it isn't I might spend a total of 5 minutes or less. That would be morning detangling, doing a bun, taking it down at night and a quick detangling before bed. A braid would be even less time because I'd sleep in the braid. If it's a wash day, the actual washing time added to regular bath time is maybe 10-15 minutes at the most. Then maybe 2 minutes to detangle. Styling time would be the same as a non wash day. I'm not counting the time it takes for a long CO soak, a deep conditioning with a heat cap, or air drying time, as I can do other things during those times. If I'm playing around with a new style that can take a while, as in how ever long I feel like it. S & D is done while I watch tv so that's another multi tasking time.

PS. Please please please don't use that green color in your posts. It's so hard to read. Almost impossible on my computer actually.

On non-wash days, it only takes me 2-3 minutes to comb it and braid it.

On wash days, I would estimate an hour or so for everything.

Generally 15-20 minutes at most. Take it down after sleeping to finger comb, throw it up in to a bun, and then put it in a sleep cap at night. Done.

on a non-wash day I just comb it through and bun it 5 minutes tops

on a wash day leave it loose to dry, no combing until dry and then up 4 hours drying so 4 hours and 5 mins approx

and I indigo every now and again then it takes 6 hours, oh and my weekly DC 1 hours!

Its less than 5 minutes for me on a daily average. Wash takes almost no time at all. (small hot water heater YOU WILL HURRY!) Dye? um time doesn't exist when I am holding two mirrors and sectioning my own hair.

Non-wash days, less than a minute to finger comb while I wait for my moisturizer & SPF fluide to absorb on my face before applying makeup

Wash days, maybe 5 minutes?

On an ordinary day, 5 minutes in the morning to comb out and pin up, then 5 minutes at night to comb out, oil and braid.

On a wash day, 10 minutes more.

My hair only just reaches shoulder so I hardly spend anytime on it at all.

It takes about 5minutes to put my hair into a ponytail I'm happy with, including brushing and then if I have to straighten my fringe that's another few minutes. Less than 10minutes in all I'd say.

On a regular day, about 5 -10 minutes.
On a wash day, about 1 - 2 hours.

On a non-wash day: Combing once or twice, ten minutes each. Oiling, add another two minutes to a combing session.
On a wash day: An hour or two, if you add up the washing, towel-turbanning, detangling, combing, and oiling.

I probably spend 5 minutes or 10 on it,aside from washing,drying and thinking about a hairstyle.:D

Probably 15-20 minutes most days. I CO on a daily basis by putting the condish on wet hair 5-10 mins before my shower, but that only takes a minute. The I us ea heavier condish on the ends in the shower and detangle, comb through after the shower and blow dry my bangs. I oil every day and it takes maybe 2 mins to put it up in the morning. I try to do something "nice" (a special updo or curls) with it once a week or so and when I do that it can take MUCH longer.

I take a shower and wash my hair daily (about 15 min on my hair)
Comb various times during the day (about 10 min all together)
Oil my hair (6-8 min)

Overall I spend about a half an hour on it each day.

Maybe 10 minutes on non-wash days, and 30-45 minutes when I wash. Not very long!
