1 Year Anniversary + Guru! *Pics*

Hello!

Today is my 1 year anniversary here at LHC. I'm so happy to have found this community, not only for the amazing hair advice, but also for the great friends I've made.

My journey started two years ago when I cut my hair to a bob:

About a little over a year ago, I started searching for information on cones, and the results kept on leading me here . . . I lurked for about a month, and joined :)

In October, I took my first hair picture:

This is with my hair naturally dried, no products or combing. I was around SL or a little bit more.

. . . a year later . . . (plus guru status! -- any recommendations?)

This is my hair as of three days ago:

I think I'm solidly in BSL, if not a bit longer! BSL was my original goal, but once bitten by the LHC bug, now I'm thinking of waist (or beyond).

I guess my hair did grow relatively fast, but progress was definitely frustrating absent at times. I don't do monthly measurements, so for months it seems like nothing changes, but then poof :magic: and it's longer! Of course that whole time I've been haranguing DBF with repeated questions of "is it longer yet?" ;)

Any guru title suggestions?

I'll have to get a photo in natural light next time I wash my hair, because I think the flash is definitely giving it some artificial shine.

As for the wurls - unfortunately I've been having to brush them out since moving because I just don't have the time to let them dry wurly :/
The most recent photo is actually me with partially-dried bunwaves, which gives a bit more structure to the wurls and makes them a bit bigger. :)

I am beginning to think, though, that my classification might change as my hair gets longer and is generally more moisturized and in better condition. :hmm:
