New Style: "Cinnamon Stardust"

Today while trying to figure out what to do with my hair, I came up with this little beauty that I am calling "Cinnamon Stardust" since it incorporates two styles into one; the cinnamon bun and the stardust style (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=80).

Basically, I started out as though I was going to do the Stardust and rolled my hair. Then rather than secure it with a hair elastic, I just held on tight to the two tails and used my other hand to comb it out so the hair was flowing the same way. Still holding tight to the hair at the base of my head, I twisted the rest of the hair into a cinnamon bun and secured it with two small hair sticks. :) I think it turned out great!

I just "whipped" my hair up in this lovely style, but my cinnabun sagged a little. It's still nice, just not as pretty as yours!

Here is the attempt! I had to braid my ends they just wouldn't stay in a nice tidy un-braided cinnamon type bun, nor was it as neat as yours by any means but I was pleased as punch that I could force my hair into such a pretty style even despite lack of length :) Thanks again for the post, such an inspiration and probably my new favorite updo! :cheese:
(Did I mention if survived a 6 hour hike today quite nicely?!)
