I found this video on YouTube and thought it was such a great idea! I generally deep condition my hair on the weekends but this will allow me to leave the house all the while!

I remember seeing an advice on another board that if your hair is very very dry you should condition it dry and leave it on.

Oh what a lovely and practical style. I would definitely wear this on a hot summer day with a nice little sundress.

that is a really fun idea. I have never braided my hair that way before. Was it just a regular braid done down the side of the head?

Whoa, this is a great idea for being out on the boat, or beach for the day, even a backyard bbq, I'd just avoid fruity scents due to bees, but it wuold protect the hair awesomely!

How cute! I am totally going to do this today as I was going to do a deep conditioning. So did he french braid it down the side?

It was just a basic braid down the side of the head. I'm sure you could spice it up and make it a french braid. I also think I've decided that when I try this that I won't do it on just washed hair as you will probably wash it out that day, but maybe spray hair damp or wet it to apply the conditioner.

I do this often, I mean, put stuff on my hair for a treatment, braid it, put it up, and go. In fact I am at work now with a conditioned and oiled braided bun. No flower though, I didn't think it would go with the military pants http://innershelter.net/nonsensio/images/smiles/sarcasm0.gif

I am reminded of those photographs of hippies putting flowers down the barrels of guns. :D

Maybe instead of a flower, you could wear a little American flag. For Memorial Day.
