So I usually wear my hair down but I have tried out a hairstyle today and figured I would share and explain how to do it yourself. Basics: Two buns, thin loose braid, some other braiding.. need: hair pins and hair stick, hair tie..

(My hair circumference is about 4" but I think this should work for most hair types)

Side (notice the thin braid coming down the front):

Steps: (note.. sorry if my wording choices are not technically correct)
1) Take top section of hair, about 2" wide and pull it straight back and gently twist it. Pin with two bobby pins in and X pattern (so they cross each other)

2) Make a "half up" ponytail

3) braid it and then create a cinnamon bun (wrap it around in a swirl), secure with hair stick

4) collect remaining hair on bottom and pull out a section of hair on the bottom side (this will be used for the loose braid)..

5)twist hair and create a cinnamon bun (secure with pins) slightly to the side

6)braid remaining hair so it hangs over your shoulder and leave the bottom untied or use a very small elastic that matched your hair color

The fur is also fake for anybody wondering hehe ^_^'

Thumbs up on the fake fur. :)
That is a beautiful hairstyle! I love it! It is very romantic but at the same time kinda futuristic almost. It looks really good on you.

I don't wear my hair up very much, but I have to say that's gorgeous! Nice job.

Ooh, it looks really lovely! I'm gonna have to try that! (Though I doubt it'd look as nice - when I make one cinnamon bun it's the size of the ones you get two of. Unfair. :p)

What a great looking hairstyle. Love the accent braid at the side. Will try this out, just have to get me some tiny elastics. :p

The way you have the front pulled back and up looks really good. :cheese: an updo that looks good from front and back w/o requireing bangs. I will have to try it.

Oh wow thank you everybody! I really like some of the updos in Final Fantasy games and I think I will tinker and try to recreate some of those at some point :)

It would be fun to have one very long thin braid hanging down and then put some metallic beads on it :D

The url is an OLD joke.. and there are no "personal" details on there so it is fine to share ^^

Very pretty! The positioning of the dangle on your hairstick is just perfect, too!
