Disney's new film "Tangled" (Rapunzel).



I hope that it is an amusing film, at least. I still haven't had the chance to see the Princess and the Frog, but my friends loved it. I am happy to say that while I have a love/hate relationship with Disney movies of late, I enjoyed the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

I read some spoilers while looking for new information on it and it doesn't sound too bad. There are some things that I am just raising a brow at, but we'll see when it comes out. I mean her hair getting cut is part of the original Grimm story, so it's no big shocker there, I just can't find any information about how "short" it gets cut. I hope it still gets to be floor length at least, how else will they differentiate her from the other princesses? ;) (Other than pulling an Ariel, aka showing her with her tail and without depending on the situation, so I can see them still showing her with her 70 ft of hair even though it gets cut off in the film.)

Hehe, cute. I wish they were doing it traditional, but when I showed it to my friend, who was studying to be a traditional animator she just shuddered. Animating that much hair traditionally would be a nightmare.
