No more topics about this, I promise!

I've gone through tons and tons of pictures, and my mother hates them all. Now I remember how I felt in my teen years- there are no cuts for curly hair! Or at least, that's how it feels to me.

I realize it's my hair, not hers, but I do want something that is easy to maintain and will look good on me. As it is, I wash my hair at night, and will occasionally use product if I need to, but I'm not about to spend 2 hours every morning primping. Frizz might be an issue but I'm sure I can tame it. Normally in the morning I have a spray bottle with some water and conditioner in it, and I'm ready to go.

I'm looking for something shoulder length or above that will work with a round face, and these kinds of curls:

[when it was longer]

I don't know what to do. I really am tired of my long hair [I never thought I'd say that lol]

I really want to give this a try, but with different bangs, but I don't think I can pull it off :[ Even if I would be willing to do fingerwaves myself. I know how, and I don't have much root curl. But maybe not this short.

I want to go back to this. What do you guys think?

I have found that with curly, wurly hair there isn't really an inbetween.......either you wear it in a cute, curly pixie or long like your hair is in the photo. I have tried many styles over the years, only to come to this conclusion. Your hair is very lovely by the way, I love the length......but of course, I am trying to get to where you are now, from a short crop!LOL!!

I know, I hate that! I want to be able to just go and cut it and be happy with it, ugh. I do like it long, and medium length, but I'm so bored with it! I want it short. I want to do finger waves and rollersets in it, and try fauxhawks and pigtails and stuff. :[

But don't worry ,you'll get there eventually lol it just takes time

Have you tried Google or whatever your search engine and typed in curly styles for a round face? I've done this in the past and came up with more results than I could even look at. AOL has a series called "the right haircut for your face shape".

THAT IS A GREAT CUT YOU POSTED! I have had that look, or at least one close to it, but, it always ended up going all poofy on me if there was even a hint of humidity in the air! Also, my jawline is quite square and my forehead is high, so it really wasn't the best cut for me. I know how it is to want to kick it up a notch.....I can spend hours on "hairfinders.com!"

Your hair is beautiful. I won't try to tell you how you should wear your hair, as that is completely up to you. It looks from your picture that it may take quite a bit of length for your curls to fully form.

You have more motion/wave in your hair than I do, and I've never had good luck when it is above my shoulders. It just flooms out all over the place, but never in regular or predictable ways. (I am making up words, by flooms I mean flys all over the place in random directions.) I don't have enough curl to have curls, but also not straight enough for it to lay neatly. Have you had good luck with your hair when it is shorter?

If you've already done the 2-week rule, and still want it shorter, by all means, cut. If you are still not sure, maybe give it a bit more time to consider. Maybe some shorter face framing layers would be to your liking? You could have shorter and longer at the same time.

Above shoulders never works for my waves either, unless it is really short. I'm biased, of course, but I think you should keep growing!

How about this (http://www.freundin.de/Galerie/1082978_ddb62355eb.jpg) one (The one on the right)? It's not really short, but it will show off your curls.

This (http://www.starflash.de/imgs/57060_efaf97eebd.jpg) one I can imagine looking pretty with a round face, but it looks like its fairly high maintenance.

I really like this (http://www.virtuellefrisuren.com/images/curly_hairstyles_2.jpg) one, but your hair might not be curly enough.

I think any short cut will probably require more styling than long hair.

This style was super-easy for me. All I had to do was comb it straight back from my face with a little styling gel, then let it fall naturally as it dried.

I've had short hair before, yes, and the reason I think I can pull it off is because my hair used to look like this. Granted, I was a little less heavy back then, so my face is a little fatter now:

This one is a wedge but obviously not cut as short as Dorothy Hamil wore hers.

Honestly, I like your old cuts. Especially the second one looks quite nice.

The "experts" usually advise no straight-across bangs for round faces as it makes them appear more wide.

Thanks for the links, but those just really aren't me.

I hope you can find something that you like. I don't know how to post links, so the only thing I had to work with was my own photobucket account.

My hair goes very fluffy and wide without some length to weigh it down. You can't even tell it's curly until I get to about APL. I can't see your hair well enough in your pictures to tell whether or not yours will do the same thing.

Don't cut it!! :couch: Okay, okay, I know, it's your hair, and you can obviously do whatever you want with it. However...I think it is more beautiful now than in any of your past photos. Instead, buy some new hairtoys, try some new updos, get a little trim, etc., etc.

Alright, that's out of my system. :o

Anyway, good luck with whatever you do! (Only, don't cut it! OOPS! I said it again. I'm leaving now. :p)

I like the idea of a wavy bob. I have a round face and wavy hair also and this style worked well for me for years. I think the last pic you posted is really pretty especially with your hair color! If I had your hair type and little waves I would definalty go for it (of course consider it carefully before chopping so you have no regrets).

I have to stop looking at that picture now- its making me REALLY want to cut my hair back into a bob :).
