Tha article I linked is all about how it has been insured for $1 million. (of course he has an endorsement contract with H&S)

I don't see why not - I have insurance on handbags/clothing/shoes, why not hair? maybe I should call my insurance agent and ask her about that

. . . because she doesn't already think I'm nutso enough . . . . (^(oo)^)

If we're talking about hair, he's got body! He's his own party! I think it's awesome that he wears it with pride.

You can certainly insure body parts, so why not hair. Especially if you make any sort of living from it, so hair models would have cause to insure their hair.

His hair is pretty damn amazing!

Right?!

I love that photo of him, but unfortunately I think the hair in the photo was embellished if you will.

Here's some links of how his hair seems to really look like:

based off of other samoans i know, brushing it out could be the only real difference between that original photo and others. keep in mind that those were taken after he took off his helmet. he's one of my faves, it always makes me smile when i see his hair sticking out the back of his helmet durring games.

Wow, how does he get all that hair under his helmet? :afro:

I don't know if it's worth insuring you hair, I mean, insurance would probably only pay if you lost your hair or someone cut it against your will, and if you get money for that it still doesn't give you your hair back :(

I think if I was a model or if it was part of a stament identity I would ensure my hair.

I saw that on the news the other day.....outstanding hair!

The company has a Web site dedicated to his hair (troyshair.com). It really pushed a male specific shampoo. There is a big picture of his head, with different objects in his hair. You click on the objects to view various topics. One of them warns about using a "woman's" conditioner because it can "over-conditioning" your hair, thus weighing it down. The advertised shampoo supposedly has just the correct amount of conditioner.

I can't imagine Troy being able to comb through it without using conditioner.

There are plenty of pictures on the Net documenting his 11 year grow-out process.

Is it J-Lo (or whatever she goes by) can insure her ass, then you can insure your hair.
