Some people have photos you can compare and contrast with their hair type here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=36848).

As for my hair it clumps a lot more. I comb my hair out, so a lot of the curl is combed out, too. When it's wet I get a handful of big, clumped curls. They definitely fluff out as they dry, and then even more so when they get combed!

Mine is straight and has little spiraly curls on the ends that go away as it drys. I definatly like how it looks dry much better.

Actually I think there was a thread on here not too long ago where people posted pictures of their wet hair.

it looks very wavy when wet but as it dries it goes straight.

Wet.

Oh! You mean... nevermind. :D It looks piecey and snarly. When it's about 80% dry I add a wee bit of oil to its incredible about of frizz (for a 1b), finger comb... and it's... this.

Mine looks straight when wet but as it dries it looks like separate wavy strings, sometimes I like to rock that look and not brush out all the waves.

Some pieces are straight with big bends in them, while other pieces try to spiral in big S-shaped patterns. Henna took a good deal of my wannabe-wurlies out, though. I'll have to take a picture sometime.

Mine is really wavy when it's wet, but it's very straight after it dries.

very wavy when wet and it dries straight.

Mine definitely clumps in large, soft waves... much straighter than my normal hair. I love the way it looks while wet. I wish it could look like that dry.

It looks a lot straighter because it's very heavy when wet. :p

Straight when wet then dries slightly wavy.

My hair tangles like no other because I have very dry, damaged, curly hair (I really should get it cut, but can't bring myself to.) When it's wet, it releases & just lies there. The ends have begun to do a strange spiraly thing which I actually kind of like. Though it does look a little stringy, it's leaps and bounds better than when it's dry.

I don't know if it's because my hair is damaged, but 2 years ago it was wurly when dry and when it was wet, I got medium sized curls. Right now, it's almost straight dry and I get large curls when it's wet. When i had my bob last year I used to straighten it with my flat iron every other day during 4-5 months.

Mine's a mix of wavey with some small ringletted ends. If I don't brush it at all it will stay like this. If I brush or comb it while wet it will just go a little wavey. My hair used to be pin straight when I was younger, and now its gradually developing more body. Very odd!

My hair is extremely piecey when wet. Almost like I have wavy dread-locks. Especially if I washed my hair upside down. If I hadn't just washed my hair I'd wash it just to take a pic. I'll wait until I'm due and take pics of it when I wash it upside down and right side up.

This should be fun....hope I remember to do it!

When I brush it out, there's lots of tiny waves and curls everywhere because the hair's been pieced out. Then as it dries it gets straighter, for some reason that I can't fathom. Logic dictates it should be the other way around.

Very stringy and clumped together, with some waves/stretched out spirals forming at the ends. It looks like a lot less hair than when it's dry and combed.

When wet, I have a mixture of wavy and straight- the ends look like they fairy tale. When dry, much straighter and the ends look more blunt.

Seaweed! Seriously- it's slick and brown and curls up in weird patterns.

Mostly straight but with a tiny bit of wave here and there.:hmm:

Uncombed, it's got waves that gradually shrink up into curls and frizz while it dries. When I comb, only the ends stay wavy (until it dries, of course, then it's back to curls and frizz).

Am I the only one who prefers the colour of their hair when it's wet vs. when it's dry? My hair is this nice dark chocolatey brown, almost black colour when it's wet...I wish it stayed like that!

It depends. For some reason, sometimes my hair is stick straight 1a when wet, and other times I can almost see spirals. It always dries the same though

this is the first time I have ever started letting my hair air dry uncombed so I am suprised it is tight waves and when combed after drying I have S waves in it.. So I don't know what that means ..

I've always combed wet to let dry and always felt my hair was naturally straight ??

When it's wet my hair is really piecey but doesn't look bad. When its almost dry, on the other hand, it gets really frizzy and gross. I hate it when its around 90 % dry, ick

My hair looks straight and darker when it's wet, as it dries it gets lighter and curlier.

Mine develops tight waves and spiral curls...so much so that it goes from BSL to about APL!

Mine tends to get more wavy, with the end even curling a bit.

Shorter than when its dry. I think this is unique to kinky curlies.

My waves and curls perk right up any time of year (especially in my silver) but with a major curl explosion in humid weather

Nothing really changes about my hair except it looks a lot darker, a good few tones lower
