2½ years of growth! (pics)

Here is a summary of my time at LHC. :) I've been busy this summer and couldn't post the update until now, but the pics was taken in the beginning of July. Please note that I didn't take any pics in January, so it's been a whole year between the two last sets. My hair is still growing very slowly (10cm/year), but as long as it's growing I'm happy. :) Since I've started growing I have done a micro-trim (½ cm) and a trim of 1½-2 cm last October. I will get it trimmed at a saloon sometime this fall and give it more of a V-shape. After that I will trim and S&D myself (which I rarely do now...) to make sure I don't loose more length than necessary. I hope to grow to at least tailbone with a bit of fairytale ends. I'm not sure I can go beyond that, since the ends will be very old by then and my hair is fine and fragile.

And I love my long hair! :) By now it's longer than most people's I know, including teenage girls. :) And I get some compliments on both up-dos and length (when I let people see it). I even had the "Is it yours or fake?" on a simple english braid a couple days ago. :D

Congrats. My wife's hair looks almost exactly like yours as far as color and type. I'm assuming those pics are of your hair air dried? Your pics give me an idea of what hers will look like when it is the same length!

Forgot to add: My wife is from Norwegian decent so that explains the similar hair.

Aaaww, thank you all! :flower: As always nice to post something here.. ;) I hope that some will get inspired and keep growing, knowing that it will get long, someday. 2½ years seems like a very long time before hand, but if you try to enjoy the journey and don't mess with measurements and pics every month, it will pass quickly. I have done for me, and I've loved spending all this time on LHC. :love:
