Found a picture of a supercute braid on a blog, does anyone know the name of it and how to do it?

They look like milkmaid braids to me. You do pigtail braids, so one on each side of your head, wrap them up and over your head, pinning them in place, and tucking in the ends so you can't see them.

I am thinking it looks like a variation of Milk-maid Braids.

Definitely! That's the other name I've heard it go by. Too many names, too little brains.

Here is a YouTube search (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=milkmaid+braids) on it, which nets a bunch of how-to videos. Good luck!

I disagree. I think it's the traditional Ukrainian hairstyle made popular by Yulia Tymoshenko. There was a thread on this somewhere I think. I saw a video how to. It involved making a long braid at the nape and then twisting it somehow to make it loop around the head and then bunning the leftover tail. My hair isn't nearly long enough to try it.

I cannot identify what specific kind of braid this is, but I am sure there are multiple ways of achieving that effect. It is very cute, indeed. :)

Are you meaning the coronet braid? Kind of like a faux crown. On a second, closer look it very well could be, judging by how the woman's part doesn't seem to go all the way down the back of her head.
