When I first started learning to take care of my hair and grow it long before I found this site, I discovered Andrea on youtube. Did anyone else follow her? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHmd8dKaoUY&feature=channel She had a big chop and was growing out. She likes to heat style like I do so I was interested in her hair journey. I have followed her for maybe a year or more now, and she hadn't done a hair update in a while (she does beauty and health videos too.) Well, it looks like recently Andrea is doing some good things for her long hair! She is cutting back on heat styling, wearing it curly and dealing with the curl through product, and eating healthier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhmALyxpv5o&feature=channel and dying her natural hair color to grow it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZIcORqcX5k&feature=channel.
One recent video I enjoy if you do heat style is how she curls her 'Victoria's secret angel' layers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIP6EdQ6sWY&feature=channel. Although I did cringe a LOT when she began flat ironing over her blow fried hair in this video. And I did like her better before the ads and supposed sponsers.

Anyways I still love her and her hair and just wanted to share and wondered if anyone else had heard of her :)

I also follow Andrea on youtube! She is such a wonderful person! Although she uses a lot of heat styling, I do feel like she is moving in the right direction by cutting out heat styling and going back to a more natural color!

I watch her too - I like her videos and I find her really humourous! I'm mulatto like her, so I really appreciated some of the tips she had to style her hair - although I don't heat style my hair, I thought the diffusing for root volume tip especially helpful (on the cold setting for me!). Because of her, I'm now thinking about starting a youtube channel on how to style curly hair... but for now I think I'll lurk here on LHC :P.

She's a very pretty girl.

I agree, I think she and her twin are gorgeous. I also look at her website but I haven't checked it in a while. She did a few products videos (pre-sponsership??) and they remind me of how honest reviewers are here about product we like/dislike for our hair types.
I am jealous though because when I started watching her I had similar length hair as she did (hers was maybe an inch longer) and now hers is WAY longer! Not to mention she heat styles more and has pretty layers (not ugly ones like the ones I am growing out ). Not fair!

huh.. never heard of her.. hmmm its a good thing she is trying to wear her hair curly now.. because in that fist video her hair looked so damaged.. it looks a bit better in her later vids.. but you can see where the old damage is..

See Andrea's choice on her curly hair routine, I much prefer the no brushing to the brushing, she does blowfry but I could see doing that with low heat.

2nd all of this.
I don't think I'd take hair advice because of how damaged her hair is/was.

But I would take make-up tips!
Her make-up is always flawless. :agree:

Yup, I have heard of her. I'm subscribed to her aswell. It's really cool that she has a twin sister and they look so much alike.
