View Full Version : quick - do I need to use distilled water for cassia treatment

It says to use distilled water on the Light Mountain box, but those instructions are for their henna products as well.

Yup. The mineral problems will show more on cassia.

Alternately, I've always used straight tap and never had problems. Probably depends on the quality of your tap water, though!

I never used anything but tapwater, and I never had any problems.

I also use tap water, but my tap has a high tech filtration system under my sink that takes most of the ick out of it. I know it's designed to remove added chemicals and impurities, but I don't know about minerals. But I haven't had any problems - so since it ain't broke, I ain't gonna fix it :D
