6 month anniversary! I didn't realize how much I'd grown! :) *pics*

So it's been 6 months (almost 7) since I joined LHC! I was thinking that my hair must grow super slow, it never seems to get any longer! Well I decided to look at pics from six months ago, and wow! It's a good deal longer! My hair was 17 - 17 1/2 inches when I got here (LHC way, dry and wurly), and now it's 22! (dry and wurly) That's 4 1/2 - 5 inches in 6 months! Yay! So my hair grows about .75 - .83 in per month (which is abt 10 in per year!). I feel much better now:D
Okay, on to the pics! The first is in the end of January. Note the lackluster hair (using reg shampoo and condish, air dried for this pic, but usually straightened with flat iron)

The second one is end of July. CO for months now, air drying, and embracing my wurlies!

I totally agree, my hair was a dry frizzy mess before. Its curlier to and has grown faster :D

I agree that pictures are best for seeing growth, measurements can be off, especially on curly and wavy hair, and it may seem that the hair is not growing much at all, and then you see pictures and realize it's much longer!!

My routine changes to what my hair seems to need. The conditioners I use are
Washing condish:
-BWC Rosemary, Mint, Tea Tree
-Now Berry Full (I get this on iherb.com, never seen it anywhere else. got it on sale for $2.49/16oz)
-Now Herbal Revival
-Aubrey Organics GPB (I just add a bit cause my hair loves the protein)
Leave-in:
Aubrey Organics Island Naturals

I mix a good sized squirt of each in a hair color bottle I got from Sally's, add water, shake it up, and apply to my hair. Sometimes I add a drop of BWC Rosemary, Mint, Tea Tree shampoo when my hair seems to need some deeper cleansing. I let it sit for a few minutes while I do other shower things, then rinse very thoroughly. I then apply the AO Island Naturals, do other shower things, then rinse with an ACV and water final rinse. I use Kinky Curly Curling Custard too after I get out of the shower. I love that stuff!

My reasons for choosing the hair products I do has everything to do with ingredients. I try to use to most natural ingredients with the least chemicals:)
