I am SO confused on what type of hair I have. I have been trying to figure it out. I took some pictures of it so hopefully someone can help me out. :)

This is the front of my hair:

I have little frizzies that go all over my head that tend to curl out especially because it is hot and humid where I live.

Here is the right side:

The short pieces are my bangs that I have been growing out FOREVER! Those pieces tend to try to curl.

Here is my left side:

It's the same thing. My hair is kind of curly? I think?

Here the the back of my head:

And last but not least, here is my underlayer:

Here is some extra information. I don't know if it will help or not but it's worth a shot. My hair holds onto water for a very long time. My hair is regular regarding volume. If I brush my hair it fluffs out (sometimes, it depends on the weather). Any input/suggestions of what kind of hair I have would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you.

The pictures don't show up for me :(

You may want to shrink your pictures or link to them. My computer claims to be "downloading pictures" but doesn't seem to be really doing anything. I don't typically have problems with this so you may have gigantic pictures or have them linked from a poor hosting site.

Can you see it?

Looks like a 2c to me, I see some spirals here and there. Very pretty color though! :)

I also think 2c :)

I agree with 2c. Did you let your air dry without any product or coming? If not I wonder if it could be 2c/3a.

Yes this is air dried with no touching, no product, nothing. I did nothing to it. All I did was CWC in the shower.

Fourth (fifth?) the 2c! Maybe 3a for the bangs. Combo hair, nice!! :)

I think you are a 2c. :)

So I am guessing that I am indeed a 2c. :D Does anyone have any suggestions on how to control the frizz?

If you've never tried to CO washing method, you might consider trying it - it really helps tame frizzies and bring out curls!

I've tried the CO washing method, but it leaves my hair feeling heavy I guess you could call it.

Are you using a conditioner without (sili)cones? Perhaps a coneless conditioner might help with the heaviness. But I'm definitely no expert on wavy hair.

Instead of CO'ing, try a mild shampoo with lots of conditioner afterwards. Either don't rinse it out completely, or use some as a leave-in to tame the frizz. How much conditioner you leave in depends on the moisture your hair needs.

You look like a 2c, possibly a 3a to me. You have very pretty shine that makes your hair look angelic.

I'm not an expert with wurly hair, but I do know coconut oil helps tame DBF's frizzies (his hair is also 2c), as does aloe vera gel.

Very pretty spirals! :)

I second aloe vera and coconut oil. I use them as a leave-in after heavily conditioning my hair in the shower. I also try to add oil to the ends every night before bed (when I remember).

Hmm..maybe I will try the aloe vera gel and leaving a little conditioner in my hair to see if that works. Thank you everyone for your input :)

Can someone guide me to the descriptions of hair type, so I can get mine into my profile? I remember seeing it once, when I was just here lurking, but I can't remember WHERE!
