Warning: This might be a sorta dumb question. I know spirulina and kelp are distantly related, but that spirulina isn't a sea plant and kelp is. Right now I'm taking a kelp supplement and am interested in trying a spirulina supplement too. Considering that they're somewhat similar would it be pointless to take both?
TIA :)

No it would not be considering they have different things. Spirulina is high in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Beta- carotine is notable in this one and also vitamin B12.

Kelp is high in vitamins in minerals but slightly different ones in different concentrations. Iodine to not is higher in kelp. This one is high in vitamins C and K.
