I have discovered a method which I don't think has been discussed on this site befor, I have been doing it for a week or so and it seems to be working really well for me even though its aimed mainly at mixed race hair rather than caucasian curlies like me.
~Basically~ it involves washing and conditioning normally ish and then putting alot more conditioner on and defining the curls with no extra styling products (the link explains alot better!!!)

Is anyone else using this method?

Im using these products for this method and so far they seem to be awesome!!!

I don't know if anyone is actually using her method, but it has been referred to several times here and of course on Black hair care boards.
I've done her routine a few times and I do get good results but it is very time consuming for me- although if I had the routine down, it probably wouldn't be so bad.
She's my Facebook friend, hee hee!:)

I've done it. I still can't get by without gel though.

It has come up here a few times.

I often use my own(easier) version of her method.

Basically I just separate my hair into a couple of sections after towel drying and smooth in some extra conditioner.
That's it.

I've tried doing it exactly her way but I don't have the patience to walk around with drippy hair or comb/brush little sections at a time. I think it works for me because my hair is sooooo fine that it only takes conditioner to give it definition.
