Haha, thanks everyone! The hair color is actually a dye job- I'm trying to grow in my natural hair color. The waves/curls are natural though.

Do you think if I grow my hair it would weigh down the curls/waves?

Hmm, I don't think it will. At least, it didn't destroy my waves (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=2521&pictureid=75239).

you are lucky to have waves not so much curls! I have hair somewhat similar to yours but it's more frizzy, less reddish, less blonde, more curl
