Since it's been ages, I decided to have at it, so I took some 40v and bleached several blue streaks through indigo. (as we all know, bleach+indigo means blue/green regardless, so WIN WIN!) It worked! But keep in mind my hair is made of titanium and please, do not try this at home.
I followed up with a protein treatment and some shocking blue manic panic, and the results are fantastic and there is no breakage or visible damage. Hair feels great. :coolblue:
Here's the awesomeness!

Oooh fun! Several years ago when my hair was much shorter I dyed it jet black and had blue stripes put in. I loved it. It's just a really neat look!

I'm so glad you're back here! I was worried about you the last time you posted and you felt that you had to leave for whatever the reason was. I'm glad you're back again and I hope things are at least somewhat better. :flower:

I love the blue streaks! They compliment the indigo black so well!

Now that's pretty! :D
I love how you managed to keep it subtle and yet have those cool colours on your head.

That looks great. Pretty shade of blue, too! I could never make blue streaks stay, but with the indigo base it's probably much better!

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I didn't want to be a fluorescent-head but I needed at least something. There haven't been many times in my life where I didn't have some kind of funky coloring, and it's almost always involved blue. Never knew why. I'll have to take some pictures in direct sunlight some time, it looks amazing outdoors. Kinda like the henna effect where it glows in the sun.

Squee, it looks amazing, go JenJen, it's yo' birthday! :D (Notreallybut :p )
Woo! I wanted blue for the longest time, I wanted blue to shine in the sun and my hair would look black indoors. :p Never got it, but still long for it ... one day. :)

Like from the books! "Her hair was so black that it looks like a dark blue in the sun". And your hair is blue;) Fantastic!

Your hair looks fantastic. And don't worry about me trying the same thing on my hair. I know from experience that my hair will curl up and die if I wave a bottle of bleach at it!
