View Full Version : I got layers for the first time in years!

At my goal length I was here-ish:

Then I got about six inches cut off:

I got another inch taken off and layers put in.

I'm growing my natural color out. In October I have to throw on a wash out dye for my cousins wedding, but otherwise, I'm done coloring it- probably forever.

I completely agree, especially from the second picture in comparison. I think the layers adds a lot more definition to your curls! I have to add too that your hair color is gorgeous. :heart:

It's funny, cos for taking some of the weight out with layers, you've actually made it look thicker! Definitely a good decision!

The lady wanted to thin it out- but I've had bad experiences with that before, so I just said, nah, let's just do layers.

Woah, layers can do wonders for curls, I don't understand why so many people dislike them! They make your hair look so gorgeous, tbh I love the after much more! :D

BTW, it does look really thick now too.
