One year on LHC! (Lots of pictures)

Technically, it's on the 22nd but I didn't feel like waiting! :)

I've been here a year and my hair feels and looks so much better. It still has a lot that needs to be improved, and some damage and dye that still needs to be grown out. But it has improved a lot in the year I've been here.

I've done lots of trims, so I've only gained a few inches in length, but I'm still happy with my progress.

Yes, it was long, but not taken care of well. The ends were thin and fried, and my hair was frizzy everywhere. I have trimmed a lot since then.

This is the first picture I took of my hair for LHC.

I wasn't very good at taking pictures of my hair yet, so the ends are cut off. :p
My hair was a very deep U shape with long layers. I also had bangs that were grown out to about shoulder length.

Before any trims. My hair had become a bit healthier, but I did realize I would have to trim my hair of the damage. The ends look thin. I used to be able to get my hair that straight by just combing it right out of the shower. It doesn't do that anymore. My hair likes to wurl. But, that shows that it's healthier now. :)

This is just from last month, I'm still getting used to all of the wave I've discovered I have! So much frizz in this picture.

This is how wavy I can get my hair by scrunching it straight out of the shower, and not combing. This is July 4th.

I'm very happy with this picture of my hair.
This is how my hair dries if I comb it straight out of the shower. It's still wavy. :)

So, overall I've only gained 3-4 inches in length, but my hair is so much healthier! Also, the dye in my hair is grown out to my chin now. Can't wait to see my progress in another year. Thanks for your help everyone. :)
