I couldn't begin to answer since I just go by milestones that I happen to notice. There usually isn't a time frame I gauge it by, so it was "eventually" for me.

This thread (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=48667) was a smallish thread, but may also have some answers to help you out.

I guess you could figure out what your average growth per month is, then find the distance between APL and BSL on you and work it out? That could give you a rough estimate of how long it would take you. :) Good growing!
