I love the look of braid waves on hair, and routinely french braid my damp hair at night after a shower to wake up to the waves. It looks really nice all the way down - until the ends, which are kind of kinky/poofy and stick out in random directions. This look really takes away from the nice, uniform waves in the rest of it. Any suggestions/tips to avoid this?

Watch this. It's Torrin's tutorial on how to take care of those scraggly ends:

Oh wow.. that's an awesome video! I love my braidwaves too, but never rock them outside the bathroom for this reason. I'll have to try this. =O I have soft curlers and that paper is cheap, she said. Niiiiice. Thanks for posting that vid!

I oil my ends a little before brading. that way they come out nice and silky.

Plus you can braid all the way to the end, wrap a strip of wet ribbon around the ends, and put a small hair-tie over that. Then the braid waves will continue evenly all the way down.

Oooo I'm going to have to try this! The ends have bothered me a little too.

I have been using Torrin's method with great success. I love it!
