Hair compliment that made my day :D

Yesterday I had just washed and air dried my hair, and I was sitting on the sofa with my hair draped on the back of the sofa, to avoid rubbing against my back.
My dad came by, touched it and told me how shiny it was.
The funny thing is that he was the one who didn't notice when my mother went from platinum blond to dark red hair :D But HE noticed MY hair was shiny!
I feel so good now xD

Isn't it amazing how some kind words can make your day? I was at the library with my hair in a dutch braid, feeling very dumpy. I had the fuglies (fat and ugly). But, the librarian commented how much she liked my braid and suddenly I was feeling great!:D
