Well, no, I don't sing a specific song, although I do often sing songs in the shower (parts of songs- I don't think i know ANY song from start to finish!)

You remind me of people singing or talking to their plants to make them grow :) :flowers:

Woah, you may have hit on something! I wonder what I can tell my hair? Any suggestions?

My hair song would have to be "Break your heart" by Taio Cruz, because I always end up doing destructive things to my hair (chemically treating it, straightening it) and then it breaks my heart. lol

Err well no I don't have a hair song, but yesterday the radio was playing an old Cher song from the 70s and I was *ahem* singing along imagining my hair was as long as Cher's used to be...

Ha ha ha. I usually hum/whistle the melodies to my favorite disco hits. Hair time is happy time, happy time is party time.

Irish song called "I'll tell me ma"

I'll tell me ma when I go home the boys wont leave the girls alone
They pull my hair they stole my comb but I'll be allright till I get Home
She is handsome, she is pretty she is the bell of Belfast city
She is a courting, One Two Three
Please will you tell me who is she

I just can't help myself, I sing it all the time.

I don't tend to be awake enough in the shower to sing (I am *not* a morning person!), but if I had to think of a song that matched up with my hair's personality, I'd guess:

Wild Thing -- The Troggs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qHX493bB3U) or Jimi Hendrix (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_Co2AF9bkA)

Fields of Gold.

So she took her love for to gaze awhile
upon the fields of barley.
In his arms she fell, as her hair came down
among the fields of gold.

In the shower tonight, I found myself singing Celtic Woman's "Spanish Lady":

As I came back through Dublin City
At the hour of half past eight
Who should I spy but the Spanish Lady
Brushing her hair in the broad daylight?
First she tossed it
Then she brushed it
on her lap was a Silver Comb
In all my life I ne'er did see
A maid so fair since I did roam...

I am not sure if my hair has a specific theme song, but more like a theme genere :)

My hair is definitely a Celtic/Faerie (music by Gary Stadler) music kind of hair. :)

Hi there everyone!

So i do not know about you, but I personally sing a specific song when I wash my hair everyday and imagine it Rapunzel length. :)

The Turtles- Happy Together

I also do it when I apply all my little potions and formulas to it.

Anyone do the same, if so . share. I hope I am not the only one, I cant be...can I ? haha :poot:

I LOOOOVE that song!

This is so funny, because I do have specific shower songs that have just the right timing for when I have the conditioner on my head and am doing my showerly duties, and for when I rinse my hair. I use the same songs every single time. I go for real oldies.

While I'm not a country music fan in general, I do love June Carter and Carl Smith's cute love song, "Time's A-Wastin'" and I sing that in full while the conditioner is soaking on my hair and I'm washing up.

For rinse time, I sing either "Good Morning Starshine", which is of course from the musical "Hair". Sometimes I shake it up a bit and sing Stevie Nicks' and Don Henley's "Leather and Lace". :p By the time I finish either of those songs, I know my hair is thoroughly rinsed. :)

I love to improvise, so it usually something uniquely cherry, unless it's something that has been stuck in my head for a while (usually something incredibly annoying!)

Katy Perry "I Kissed a Girl" 'cause it sounds girly and makes me want longer hair. I used to get made fun of for short hair.

Don't know why, I just started singing it since last year, and now I do almost everytime I do something to my hair.

Haha! I talk to my orchid, too. Now that it's budding again I've been kissing it every day since it hasn't flowered in two years.

Ahem, back to shower singing...

I hum various stuff, but not actually sing. The acoustics in there are terrible.

Really, I'm a fan of anything Disney. I'm a horrible cheese for fairytales. :cheese:

I don't take showers. I take baths, so there's no singing in the shower for me. But when my hair achieves a mini milestone of growth I do sing the Theme song from the Broadway musical HAIR to celebrate. :p

A girl after my heart! Even though I'm not from Tennessee, this song has the mountains all in it! "Corn don't grow at all on Rocky Top, dirt's too rocky by far. That's why all the folks on Rocky Top get their corn in a jar." Definitely some moonshine runners in my ancestry! LOL

Fun question! I don't really have a hair song for the shower, although I have been known to sing "If you're happy and you know it, shave your legs." I suppose I could easily change it to "If you're happy and you know it, wash your hair!"
The other songs I like to sing are The Beatles "If I Fell" and, from the musical "Chess" "I Know Him So Well." Neither of them have a thing to do with hair, long or otherwise, I just like them.

When I made my first hair video, I couldnt choose anything more appropriate then "Talk" by Coldplay. The sound of the music and the movement of my hair, they were just meant to go together.
