I figured I am a 2a or 2b with fine hair (I'm quite sure about that one) and ii (it was 2 1/4 inches). I'll get a few spirals here and there, and at the end of a braid or ponytail, especially when it is humid. Did I get it right?

I am trying to learn to like MY hair (I always wanted light red hair and about twice as thick, sigh). My husband is the best advocate -- he says it's silky blonde hair. Which is far more complimentary than I would usually describe it. Thanks to my Viking and Northern European ancestors. Knowing what to call it and accepting it for what it is goes a long way towards liking it. That's how I came to liking beets and beet greens -- just accept them for what they are -- and don't get the "juice" on your shirt!
