I just noticed that in The Sims 3, your sim can have very long hair! The video is a bit long, but you can just fast forward through some parts :)

It looks cool! Unfortunately my computer is too old and I can't play Sims3 on it. :(

Have you seen the soft crowd braid (it looks more like Heidi braids come to think of it) that they included? I'm a bit addicted to using that one! :)

How cool! My computer won't run anything but the sims 1 but my imagination acknowledges how cool that is. I love dress up, character making sort of games but am always disappointed that I can't make a character precisely as I want it, hair length is part of that.

What a weird coincidence! After many months of not playing, this morning I played some Sims 3. I made a new girl Sim, and because of LHC I kept going oooooh long haaaair! oooooh nice buns! ooooooh heidi braids!!!

I had totally forgotten about the long haired Sims! Mine stopped working after I installed World Adventures and I lost my copy of the Sims 3 so I couldn't re-install it :(

I had to stop playing sims after losing touch with reality.

Thats inevitable! It happens to all Sims players eventually :D

 I've definitely done this, too. And with really addictive books like the HP series. And LHC from time to time. The real world obviously needs more long-haired wizards. :D

That's awesome - I hope the same options are available on the PS3 version cos my PC can't run it. You could have really long hair on Sims Castaways if you just didn't cut it - which obviously I didn't!
On Playstation Home everyone is complaining about the lack of decent girl hair - they need to look to the Sims and sort it out, obviously!

I was going to class and complaining about how I asked this guy to move in with me and he said yes, and slept in my bed but still had a girlfriend and I couldn't get them to break up, and he was using my money and wouldn't move out, and didn't work, and I came home from work and he was in my bed with his girlfriend.
They thought I was nuts. Maybe I am.

Those hairstyles look awesome. I miss playing the sims! Haven't been able to in months. Gave mine away but I still have my nightlife expansion haha. I had a lot of fun when my friend let me borrow the sims for ps2.

I haven't played S3 for a while, but will probably go back to it soon. Very into S2 at the moment; I tend to go back and forth in phases.

My computer doesn't have a DVD Rom drive, so I can only play Sims 2. I've been getting mixed reviews from my friends on whether Sims 2 or Sims 3 is the better game. Now, that I know it has long hair options, I may have to look into it some more, once I upgrade my system.

I used to go back and forth with S1 and S2 when I had my old computer. Maybe it was because of nostalgia? I love being reminded of the good times that I had playing them both! I do plan on giving S3 a try hopefully in the future.

I toy often with the idea of booting S1 so I can get the stats for my favorite premades and map out their houses to rebuild in S2 and S3. Nostalgia factor is a good thing.

I was looking for Sims 3 the other day. Its somewhere in my spare room (or under my computer, in my room or somewhere else).
I still can't believe you can have hats on a sim without losing their hair all together
