A Bit of Good News

Today, I couldnt work out why my arms were itching, so I had a look at them in good light, and there is a few hairs growing on the left one. Yipppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:cheese:


For those who dont know, Iv had Alopecia Areata (since I was 13, some 31 years ago) which had gone into Univarlis (total hair body loss) for some 6 years before coming to the LHC this March. Iv had no hair regrowth (except for a very few patches on the back of the head) in this time.

Since being here Iv had some white hair growth on the scalp, and now its on my arm. Iv also checked my eyelashes and Iv got a lot of new dark hair growth.


So bowing low to the Forum, in recognition of the greatness, wisdom and knowledge held here.

Im just going to go bounce off the walls a little bit more!

Nothing specific for the Alopecia, but anti fungal meds in the last month or so, which I think has had some effect. I feel it is linked to candida for some reason. It was growing back before these meds.

Iv been eatting a lot of Biotin foods, hot baths and compresses, meditation, visualisation, relaxation and lots lots more!
