New progress pic :)

Took a new picture of my hair today and wanted to share the proof of the progress I have made in the past year and a half :)

Unfortunately my husband, who took the picture, didn't understand that he should have fixed my ends so it wouldn't look like there is a hole in the middle :p

Anyway, here's where I started from, after my first henndigo in Feb 2009

There is about 10 inches of hair that has not been touched by anything except henndigo, but the ends have years and years of chemical cruelty hiding underneath.

I recently quit dyeing and am going to switch to henna. I worry about how my ends will behave as the hair grows, since it's surely damaged. But I've only been dyeing it for two years and have never used direct heat on it, so I hope it's not too bad. :o Anyway! My point is that your hair looks awesome.

naereid, I have a long history of dyeing my hair dark and then wanting to get back to blonde again, so my hair has been through a lot. Henna has done miracles to it and made it a lot stronger and healthier looking, even though I'm able to see the line between the just hennaed hair and the hair that has seen everything they sell in a box...

karli, to me your hair seems thicker than mine :) My hair really isn't especially thick if put in a ponytail, but I think the texture poofs it up and makes it look bigger when it's left down and loose.

I don't take any special supplements for my hair, I think most of the credit goes to having a short torso, which makes it seem like my hair would grow fast. My growth rate is really pretty much the "normal" 0.5 inches/month.

Anje, unfortunately my measuring tape has told me several times that I'm ii, not iii :( I give all the credit to the texture that makes my hair appear thicker.
