Can 'cones help stop breakage?

In the last week or two I stopped using 'cones on my hair and I've had to stop using my redken anti-snap.
I have very damaged hair that snaps really easily because of all the bleaching.
I am just wondering if it's actually better to use 'cones in order to keep your hair from snapping?
I kind of miss my anti-snap..

cones stop breakage in my hair because they stop tangles.. and tangles cuase breakage.. so yes cones can stop breakage..

I find that coney conditioners(especially leave-ins) seem to hold moisture in my hair longer, where as with cone free - as soon as my hair dries, the moisture is gone.

With chemically processed hair, you should do whatever works for your hair to keep it healthiest.

Does your hair feel better or worse without the cones?

If you hair likes cones, use them! They might help you hold onto the hair a bit longer (cones or not, damage can't be undone. :) )

I think using cones can help prevent breakage if your hair breaks easily.
