Hair length

I just wondered if there's a hair lenght guide anywhere? I'm very confused :p I don't know how the definitions and stuff, so it would have been nice to know.

I see them around occasionally, but they are hard to find, aren't they? If nothing else, I can give you a quick rundown.

SL = shoulder length (hair brushing shoulders)
APL = arm pit length
BSL = bra strap length
MBL = mid back length. I can't figure out if it's the same as BSL or between BSL and waist
WL = waist length (the narrowest part)
hip length = where the hip bones are
TBL = tail bone length (either the top of the vertical smile or where your tailbone sits, depending on who you ask)
Classic (where the rear meets the legs)
Knee
Ankle
Floor
etc.

Also BCL = Butt Crack Length! (more specific than tailbone)

and also... the term "terminal" or "term." means that someone is growing their hair to the longest possible length, whatever that may be. Hope this helps!

I remember reading a thread in which a woman wanted hair long enough to "cover the boobies," so I guess we also have CTBL. Granted, this length varies from woman to woman for obvious reasons. I remember it was my first goal in growing out my hair.:p

As far as the MBL controversy, I always viewed it as not quite waist, but longer than BSL. A lot of people would agree with that one. :)

Shhh, don't tell them. It will make them all sad. But yeah, you are right as usual, oh GRU the Wise. For some reason (gravity perhaps, :confused: maybe boobie trolls) that particular length seems to get longer and longer as the years go by. Gotta get a serious bra to shorten it back up lol.
