18 month re-growing anniversary

So, I have been re-growing my hair for 18 months now and thought I would post progress pics. I took a break from LHC and ended up cutting my hair to about shoulder length after a very stressful period in my life. I realized I missed the long hair and the process of taking care of it and growing it so I re-commited myself and here I am. I have gone from 24.5 inches to 31 inches and really improved the condition. I have some layers that I am eventually planning to trim out but I am not ready to do that yet! Anywho....here are the pics.

January 2009 - 24.5 inches

May 2009 - around 26 inches with new bangs and layers (lesson learned)

Thanks for all the wonderful encouraging comments. Some days I feel like it is not growing and I can look back over these pics and realize it is;)

i think my growth rate averages about 0.5 inces a month. It has taken me 18 months to get 6.5 inches of growth with two real trims. Some months it does seem to grow a little faster but I haven't changes anything...?
