Its summer solstice (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solstice) today! What about showing off your Midsummer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midsummer) hair?
Im looking forward to see some flowery crowns :D!

The actual holiday varies between countries. We in Sweden celebrate it somehow belated on Friday, but Im sure the first ones already celebrate today.
Let the posting begin! :face:

Actually Winter solstice for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere - do we get to join in too? :D

I had a Winter Solstice celebration tonight with my family... we lit a fire and toasted marshmallows. We tried to make smores... but the chocolate we used seemed to be too thick to get melted by the marshmallow, and we don't get grahams crackers here, so just used milk coffee biscuits. Not sure that we really got them right, but it was fun trying, and the kids seemed to enjoy it.
I did think about swimming... but chickened out!

Mine is actually midsummer, not winter, since I'm in the Northern hemisphere. The style consists of two three-strand braids crossed over and around the remainder of the length, tied off at the end, with my Nightblooming summer solstice dragon stick woven through the top half:
