I don't know why I had these layers cut in, but they start bang length and it's a little below my shoulders. I'm still hating on it, it's nothing like the lengths on the forum :( I just want to know how you fix yours. I curl it with a curling iron, I have to do something with all these ends all over. It would be nice if you have pictures too :) Also, I know there are several beautiful ladies here growing from pixie length and I sure admire you. Does hair really grow fast after all? Thanks for reading this. I love being part of LHC!

I am currently a super layered mid-back length girl, but I started from collarbone length layered hair. At the time I used a styling cream from Aveda on damp hair and let it air dry. It kept it pretty neat and it prevented my hair from drying puffy and frizzy.

At your length, have you considered some retro or pin-up styles? You can use pin curls for the front layers. I usually refer to this blog for instructions and inspiration: http://freelancersfashion.blogspot.com/search/label/hair
I'm afraid my hair has gotten too long for most of the styles, so enjoy them while you still can!

My hair has always been layered, from shoulder length on. I always really enjoyed curling mine with my Caruso Molecular Hairsetter when it was your length. It gave it a lot of bounce and movement :)

thank you ladies for the great advice. Sometimes I scrunch it to let the natural curls come out, but it just doesn't look the same since it was whacked. The longer it gets the more curly it gets which I love, so wish me well.

I am just hitting waist length and have a ton of layers. I went to a salon and asked for a few long layers, and instead got lots of layers of many lengths all over my head:mad:

I used to use hot rollers, which added really large curl, but as I am hennaing more my hair is straightening, so I've gone for more wave than curl.

When wearing it up, I just plain never go for perfectly polished. The loose, sort of romantic look works a lot better with hairs sticking out everywhere.

I have almost-BSL, quite layered hair, and the layers really didn't work for me til I got past shoulder length. Up until then, though, I was straightening so it didn't really matter. Now if I really want the layers to blend, I brush it while it dries. But usually it's fine drying on its own. Hang in there. Frequent trims are probably gonna be your friends.
