Hello all,

can anyone of you lovely people help me find instructions for the Victorian Twist on Franny's gorgeous website. I seem not to be able to find any :(

Here's the link (http://www.frannyslonghairstyles.com/updos.htm) to the website. Scroll down and you will find it. I tried to figure it out but it's hopeless. I thought it might be a similar procedure to Torrin's style (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N7_7_NlnF0&feature=PlayList&p=D5AF1405756563E3&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=2)?

Thank you!!

I dont think the instructions have been put in, as just the picture comes up.

I think this is how she did it:

Put the hair into a pony tail with a hair band. Then do a reverse pony (tuck the hair through a central gap above the hair band and pull it through).

Devide the pony tail into two and twist both sections but DO NOT join together.

Taking a hair barrette, or clip, take the end of these twists and pin above the entrance of the reverse pony tail, catching the sides of the reverse pony at the same time.

She may have also put a very small bun underneath the clip, but I can see it clearly to tell.

Hope that helps.

Links should be working now. Sorry about that!

Thanks Purdybear! I am not quite sure how to imagine this though. I am a very visual person :(

1. Put the hair into a pony tail, and make a hole in the center above the hair band.

2. Pass the pony tail through the whole and pull through.

This is called a reverse pony:

3. Devide the tail into two sections:

4. Twist these sections but do not join them together:

5. Fold them in half and place the tail end above the hand band.

6. Holding the tail ends in place, gather some of the top sides of the reverse pony and hold in place with a barrette of choice.

Hope that helps, I dont think its exactly the same but close enough for me!

I just saw this thread now. I'm happy that you like the style, Svenja. :flowers: I've just been recently starting to put instructions together for some of the styles on my site, but as you have seen, I haven't gotten too far yet.

Purdy Bear did it pretty much the way I did, but I did join the two twists together at the ends with a small ponytail holder, which helps to pin the twists into the tuck neatly.

Purdy Bear, your Victorian Twist looks lovely. :blossom:

This is the first time I've checked Franny's website and have already tried the Gibson tuck.....love it! (It's also a great excuse to wear my Flexi's more often) I will definitely be checking back for more fun looks to try.
