Think I figured out what caused my hair breakage to return........
Stearamidopropyl PG- Dimonium Chloride in John Masters conditioner. I had added some of this to my standard conditioner while co-washing my hair this last time and my hair reacted really badly by breaking again.
I looked it up and it said Stearamidopropyl PG- Dimonium Chloride Phosphate is the quaternary ammonium salt.
I would warn anyone with damaged hair to beware of this ingredient specially if they have fine hair......fine damaged hair.
Needless to say I won't be using John Masters organic conditioner anymore even though I love the smell and other ingredients.
