[Purdy Bear]

Iv started to try and copy the updos worn by Captain Janeway on Star Trek Voyager. Heres what Iv come up with so far:

NB They are named after the episode they appear in.


The Caretaker

I love Janeway! And her hair, lol. I am excited to see what else you come up with!

I loved the episode where they show her with her hair down. Pretty styles, how did you recreate them?

The Caretaker:

Put your hair into a high pony tail with a hair hand. Taking some underneath of the tail wrap around to cover the hair band, but make it wider then normal at the sides, then pin at the sides or underneath.

Taking the rest of the tail, roll under on itself until it makes a nice roll near the hair band and pin inside.

Spread out the roll into a fan shape and pin at the lower edge of each side.



The time and Again bun

You start with a high pony tail again.

Take the underside bit as before but this time just clip out the way.

Make the roll as before an d pin.

Now take the underside bit and wrap around the right side of the bun to the left and make a curl.


(NB This is very similar to the one in the next episode, the phage, so I'll retry it).


The Time and Again Half Updo


Take the hair into a high pony tail but dont put it into a hair band. Pin around the sides and back, so the pins over lap. Then let down the hair so it lays centrally to the top.

Purdy Bear, I'm so glad you posted this. Captain Janeway was always my favorite heads of hair. I just love her updo's. I can't wait until my hair is long enough to try them. Thanks so much for posting this.
