Ok Heres how, sorry no photos at the moment, but its pretty easy:

1. Devide your hair into two down the central parting.

2. Take them to the back, like you would to braid.

3. Wrap (without twisting) one around the other, the entire length.

4. Keeping a firm hold, twist a few times to tighten the spiral.

5. Now make into a normal bun and pin.

The head has 18 inch hair, so could only make one curl before I tuck the ends in.

The three strand

1. Devide the hair into three.

2. Take to the back like you would with a normal braid

3. Taking two wrap one around the other without twisting.

4. Heres the fiddly bit, wrap around the thrid section without twisting.

5. Give the spiral a few twists to tighten, and then make into a bun and pin.

Due to the spiral being different each time, the bun will look different each time.
