How many inches is waist-length for you?

I just realized, happily, that it won't take as long to get to waist length hair as I originally thought it would, because I am very petite and especially short in the torso. Measuring LHC style, my hair only needs to be 28" to be waist length! Of course, having curly hair makes the grow out time a bit longer, but I only have around 13" to go since I'm right around 15" curly (16.5 straight).

If you measure LHC style, how many inches is it to waist length for you?

I'm not quite that short, I'm 5'2", but as I said a minute ago NONE of it is torso, I have such a short torso it's ridiculous. I can wear normal length pants most of the time, my legs are only a hair shorter than average.

My waist almost doesn't exist sometimes. I can tell with something tight on, like a swimsuit, but shirts that are actually comforable make it hard to tell. My hips are only an inch or so down from there, too. :p

Same here for height and waist! Right now I'm at about 30 dry"; I was at 31" dry two months ago, but my Mother's 1/4" trim turned out to be about an inch and a half. :(

I have never had waist length hair, but after measuring it seems like waist length for me is 33" when straight. No idea what it will have to be when curly. I am 5'5", but I guess I have an incredibly long torso. :rolleyes:

Waist is about 23" on me (from the front, which means it's probably like 21" from the back). And just for fun, I measured how long my hair would have to be to hit kneelength: 42"!

That "what's your terminal length?" calculator put my terminal length at 62 inches, which means I'd be able to get two inches more hair than I have in height. :p Wouldn't that be funny? Didn't get the tall genes, but apparently my hair can be "tall" for me!

Just wanted to clarify that I have quite a widow's peak, and measure from there, so maybe that's why waist length seems longer for me than it should. I've noticed people taller than me are saying waist-length is a shorter measurement on them. I think the widow's peak thing definitely has something to do with it, because I don't consider myself long-waisted.

I'm pretty much exactly at waist now, at 30 inches. I'm short (5'1") and my torso isn't disproportionately long, so that feels like quite a few inches to reach waist, based on other people's measurements. Maybe I have a low waist - or a big head. :p
