Does anyone know of any sites that show step-by-step tutorials for old fashioned hairstyles? It doesn't have to be Victorian, either - Regency, Celtic, anything with a vintage twist (vague, I know, but I'm sure you get the idea). Now that my hair is below BSL, I want to start doing creative styles other then my everyday gibson tuck.

A lovely woman named Elizabeth does all sorts of vintage inspired updos. They might be for hair a little longer than yours, but it can be a great starting point! She is found here (http://rapunzelsresource.wordpress.com/). Good luck!

I know In Timely Fashion (http://www.intimelyfashion.com) was a good source for quite a few people, but they're currently moving to a new server so you may have to wait a bit before it's rearing to go again.

If anyone urgently needs something from it, the Web Archive has it archived (http://web.archive.org/web/20060628231641/www.intimelyfashion.com/hair/main.html). :)

Torrin does a wonderful job! I love watching her videos, and she is so funny.

I would too love to master a few medieval hairstyles, but I am a terrible braider.
