Ok so i finally got hold of some piccys from the past year!

^^ bad hair colour!

During my 'emo' phase 3 yrs ago!

I had a short fringe under the long one after i had half my head shaved 6 months earlier for surgery so its not really my fault!

So i think i've come a long way, since i had to grow half my hair from scratch and keep the rest level!

I'm aiming for BSL....still a way to go!

You look fantastic in black! Is that your natural haircolour?

I know it's a long way to BSL for you, but enjoy the journey! There's a lot of things to do with your hair in that time! :) You won't be bored :)

No my natural colour is.....well, been dying it since i was 13! So im not too sure, but its ashey brown. No where near as dark as the black. I liked the black, but its so hard to get out!

Its grown 6 inches more or less in the past 11 months, and thats with trims every 4-5 weeks and an inch off last month so i think itl be around 2 years. I'll be more than happy with APL for a while though which will be 6-9 months i guess!

I definitely like the progression, the black totally suits you (and I don't even think the "bad hair color" looks all that bad). I think you'll look really good with BSL hair. Good luck!

Ohh its far from soft! Thats as a result of straightening! ~Which is doing to opposite and damaging my hair!

I do like the dark, i've been contemplating going back dark but summers here and dark colour is so hard to get out if i change my mind!!

I'm already quite bored of my hair as a whole. It wont go up, flicks all over the place when its down! how much longer till i get out of this awkward phase?

I think about 2 inches. Then you will be able to clip it somehow:) It's not that much time!:)

Seems like foooooooreveeeeeeer! I feel like its been this length for so long now!! Im not seeing any growth!

I guess in 2 months i will post a pic and see if there has been growth! My layers make it look shorter i think :(
