:waving:Hi little cherry!

That's a very beautiful result!
It really looks purple on the picture, is it the special henna you use or is it entirely from the vit c? How is the result without the vit c rinse?

Kind regards,
T.

I was suspecting Yemeni to be the culprit! Awsome color!

I just ordered a sample of the yemeni... I just have to see if it'll give me a more red shade than the jamilla is. your starting color looks alot darker than mine, and you still got such a deep red... so pretty!

Hi :)
Thank you! :) I use Yemeni, but have been hennaing for 2 years to get the eggplant colouration with the bright reds being my silvers. I crushed the vitamin c pills and added them to the warm water mixed used to mix the henna with. This is the most vibrant result I've achieved in 2 years I've been hennaing. I used to mix my henna with teas, clove, lemon juice and oils and achieved similar results no matter if I left it on for 2 hours or 10 hours-not a rich colour but a subdued one. It could have been the clarifying, the vit c, a combo of both.

Ooh Oskimosa...merlot! :)

Thanks to all that commented! :) This is the first time in 2 years that I've achieved such a vibrant and strong result. Will post more images after oxidisation.
