She recommends using a pomade or something that could or could not easily be eliminated. She has gorgeous hair though!

I have seen this video and I thought it was very interesting. I can't do this type of pin curl on the back of my head. I guess my hair is to long. This will make some very pretty curls though.

My mother used to do pincurls like these and "doodoo curls" when she was in high school. I don't do this kind of thing, it always turns out wrong. :(

wow! Her hair is stunning, all of her is stunning!! I'm too dumbstruck to even get jealous about it. :)

The curls looked fantastic, I'm not sure I could sleep with pins in my hair though- but if done during the day time it looks like a great way to do curls without heat.

Her hair is so pretty! I'd love to do that kind of curl, but I'd think it would be ruined when I sleep. I toss and turn like nothing else.

Yes yes, her great videos pop up here every so often, she has several great ones. I love her.

I did a tutorial on her method on the old LHC. You do not need ANYTHING in your hair besides the bobby pins. My hair was about 95% dry from washing when I rolled the curls and I actually didn't sleep on them the time in the photos, but I've slept on them several times before, very comfy because there is nothing more than a little bobby pin. You can wear a sleep cap if you are a resltless sleeper.

Here are a couple of photos from the old tut:

I love Iris!

Thanks for posting this - looks interesting, & I may try it sometime in the future!! :)

I have very heavy hair so I'm not sure the curls would actually hold for a longer period of time, & it does seem like quite a lot of work, but it's interesting!

Does it work only if your hair is wavy already, or have people with totally straight hair tried it already too? (I have 1a/b)
