View Full Version : Amazing bun! Can anyone do it?

EDIT: Whoops, sorry, this is totally a repeat of this thread: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=48306

Hi! I was just looking up cute hairstyles for wavy hair, and THIS showed up. I am in awe.

:agape: Wow! So I was like "I need to learn how to do this ASAP!" Problem is, the only description the website gave was this:
"...Ellen created this fun and fresh look by braiding her hair in many sections and then pinning them up arbitrarily. She said that she doesn't look in the mirror at all when she does this, which might seem crazy at first but actually makes a lot of sense. If you're constantly checking out your progress in the mirror, you'll get too wrapped up in what should go where to be able to achieve the casual, haphazard aura."

Anyone wanna give this a shot and post pictures? I'm going to try!

oooh pretty! I'll have to try it one of these days...I don't have nearly enough pins at the moment!

That looks fake :S But amazingly pretty - I want to believe it. If anyone knows how to actually do this, tell me!

The website seemed pretty legit, so I think it probably isn't fake...at least, I hope it isn't!

I'm attempting this thing as I speak--er, type.

there is a thread on this photo, i think i found it in the last week or so but a quick look didn't turn it up again. i think the title was something like, "anyone wanna try this?" and some members posted pics of themselves trying to figure out this 'do. it is lovely!

oh, wait; i just remembered that Torrin Paige figured out a way to do the style & found the thread:

have fun trying it out!

it looks like sections of braids going in randoms directions, then one braid wrapped around the whole thing...

I dont like it tho..it looks tacky, looks like a 5 yr old did it lol.
