One Year Anniversary - Whoo Hoooo!!

Yes, I've been a member here for a whole year now... crazy. :cheese:

I didn't really start posting until August; like so many others, I just sort of hung back in the shadows for a while. Once I got started, though, look out! :D

I wish I had a picture from the day I joined, but I also didn't take my first proper length short until August. I was just past shoulder...

I'm so grateful for everything I learned about hair here, and for all the wonderful people I've met. I hope to be around for a long time, as I work toward my goal of gorgeous long hair!

Yes, I henna. I started off with an orangey tint, which has progressively become redder and redder over time. Right now the ends are still tinted just a bit from some Hot Hot Pink Manic Panic I used a while back, too. Fun! :D

That particular stick came to me in the Holiday Gift Exchange, as a gift from our own Presto! I have a pair of them, and I adore them. I even have a fork that matches the sticks. There's a pic of the whole package in my albums. :)

I mentioned in another post that I got the stick (and its mate) from Presto in the gift exchange, but I don't know if she made them herself or had them made. I was given a choice of woods, so I'm leaning toward thinking they're her own handiwork... :)

And although I chose the wood from a few pictures of samples, I can't for the life of me remember what I chose! Typical of my memory, lol. :D
